Opla IoT Kit

Arduino's Opla IoT kit, centered around the MKR Wi-Fi 1010 board, is developed to allow users to experience IoT while connected to Arduino’s IoT cloud. The kit provides 8 activities for users to try their hands at creating IoT connected projects such as a smart thermostat or even remotely controlled lights. The kit also includes a 12-month subscription to the Arduino Create Maker plan which offers unlimited compilation time and access to the Arduino IoT Cloud.

To ease the entry barriers for this kit, Arduino has added Grove connectors for connections instead of the typical solder connections that are found on most Arduino kits. With the onboard capacitive touch buttons, LCD, and temperature, humidity, and light sensors, users can quickly develop IoT projects ranging from simple projects to smart gardens or home security alarms. This kit is designed with beginners in mind; however, more advanced users can use this kit to add smart controls to their home appliances.
