Low-Power Arm® Cortex®-M4 with FPU-Based SOC for Wearable Sensors

Analog Devices' Arm Cortex-M4 family of MCUs with floating point unit (FPU) are ultra-low power, cost-effective, and designed for battery-powered applications

Image of Analog Devices' MAX32650 and MAX32652 Memory-Scalable MicrocontrollersAnalog Devices' MAX32652 is a memory-scalable microcontroller designed specifically for high-performance battery applications. The device includes 3 MB Flash. The MAX32652 includes multiple serial interfaces, each with dedicated FIFOs that allow communication to external sensors; a 4-input, 10-bit ADC which monitors system power supplies; and an I2S port supporting bidirectional audio streaming, all in a high-density, 0.35 mm pitch, 140-bump WLP package.

Analog Devices' MAX32660 is a highly integrated microcontroller designed for battery-powered devices, wearable, and wireless sensors. This MCU enables designs with complex sensor processing without compromising battery life. This device also offers legacy designs an easy upgrade path from 8- or 16-bit microcontrollers. The MCU integrates 256 KB of Flash memory and 96 KB of RAM for application and sensor code. It supports SPI, UART, and I2C communication and is all available in a 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm 16-bump WLP.
