This scale features the normal measurement function and a piece counting function that allows it to determine the number of small parts, such as screws, that are being weighed. The display on the benchtop scale has a backlight, making it readable even in poor lighting conditions.

In addition to the measuring functions, the benchtop scale has an RS-232 interface. Thanks to this interface, the measured values can be transferred to a PC. The scale can be used for stationary or mobile use. The benchtop scale requires three 1.5 V AA batteries for mobile use.
