These ICs integrate both primary and secondary controllers, along with safety-rated feedback, into a single chip. As a result, they enable precise output voltage regulation even when dealing with a wide input voltage range.

Key features of the InnoSwitch3-AQ family include multiple protection mechanisms such as line overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overvoltage protection, over-current limiting, and over-temperature shutdown. Additionally, these devices can start up from as low as 30 V, making them well-suited for emergency power supplies (EPS).
