Vishay's surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor is designed to save space in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. The WSHM2818 combines a high 7 W power rating with extremely low resistance values down to 1 mΩ in a compact 2818 case size. The device features a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy resistive element with low TCR (less than 20 PPM/ºC) while its advanced construction incorporates improved thermal management.
