Diodes’ BCR430U high precision linear LED driver IC is targeted at 12 V and 24 V linear LED strips and panels
Diodes' BCR430U provides ultra-precise constant current regulation for LED modules used in illumination applications where matching, uniform light output is significant. Providing a robust and stable output, the BCR430U drives LED strings and strips with 5 mA to 100 mA (±5%) across supply voltages from 5 V to 42 V and output voltages from 0.5 V to 40 V. Requiring no external drive transistor or any stability capacitors simplifies designs and reduces component costs. The 115 mV (typ.) ultra-low voltage drop and 285 µA consumption mean better system efficiency with flexibility to drive more LEDs compared to similar solutions.
